  3. Hey spencer I don’t know if you’ll get this but I had a couple questions for you and was wondering if there was a good way to get ahold of you. Email or something?

  4. Spencer,
I’m an aspiring 16 year old crossfitter. I’ve been following your blog for about 4 months now. In the last 6 weeks I have taken 4 weeks off to get a nagging shoulder problem fixed, then I attempted to come back too quickly and hurt my hamstring. It’s been 2 weeks since this happened and I’m at the lowest point in my short life due to my dependance on weightlifting. We are to worship The Lord through the ups and downs, but I’m struggling. What gets you through troublesome times?

    • Man great question. I have two or three verses I tend to find comfort in. Check out these couple verses and trust that not everything is always easy and fun but in the Lord it is always good.

      1 Peter 5:6-11
      Psalm 62:1-2, 5-6
      2 Corinthians 12:8-10

  5. I just competed in my first USAW meet. I am 34 so qualify for masters. I qualified for nationals but have so much work to do as I have only really been focusing on Olympic lifts for 12 weeks. Is there a good program to follow during the off season to help me prepare for upcoming nationals training?
