140405: Deep Barbell

Weightlifting:
A) Cleans Only: 70/6, 75/5, 80/4, 85/3, 90/2, 95/1, 80/3*3 sets
B) On Toe Split Jerk: 40-50/5*4 sets
C) Power Jerk Recovery + 10 sec OH Hold: 100-110/5+1*5 sets

Strength:
A) Push Press: 3×10 UB and AHAP
B) Deadhang Pullups: 3×10
C) Weighted V-Ups: 3×12

    A) Cleans Only: 165-175-190-200-210-225-190
    B) On Toe Split Jerk: 95 (started at eye)
    C) Power Jerk Recovery + 10 sec OH Hold: no boxes or cage so for safety just got ahap overhead and did weird looking 1/4 squats 185×5 sets

    Strength:
    A) Push Press: 3×10 Misread as strict press 65-75-75
    B) Deadhang Pullups: 3×10 95-105-105
    C) Weighted V-Ups: 3×12 10-10-10

  2. Weightlifting
    A) Cleans – 235×6 / 255×5 / 275×4 / 285×3 / 305×2 / 315×1 / 275 3×3
    B) On toe split 135 / 135 / 155 / 155
    C) Recovery – I don’t have anything in my gym that I can use to do this. Any suggestions for something similar I can do? Jerk drives? Since I don’t have blocks all my jerks were “recovery” from Friday.

    Strength
    A) 185 / 205 / 205
    B) Complete
    C) I did weighted GH situps 25 / 45 / 45

  3. Weightlifting:
    A) 245, 260, 275, 295, 315, 335
    B) 135, 155, 165
    C) Our racks don’t have hooks high enough. I set up a squat stand on top of some pulling blocks before, but It was pretty sketchy. I just power jerked 225 and went from there.

    Strength:
    A) 185# for all sets
    B) done
    C) 15# plate for all sets

    Conditioning:
    I did 5 rounds for the Performance conditioning.

  4. WL (all work in lbs)

    A) 245/255/275/295/305/325/275 3 x 3
    B) 135/145/150
    C) omitted due to lack of gear/creativity

    Str

    A) 185 x 7/ 165 x 10/175 x 10/ 175 x 7
    Pulls and V’s later.

    Been nursing knee tweakage throughout the week, first day back in the game – felt good (minus those push presses for some reason).
    Cleans actually got tighter towards the end of the higher sets – I enjoyed the progression.
